Victor or Victim? It's 100% Your Choice
I ’ve coached a lot of people over the years…And I see a pattern in the people who make a BIG difference in the world.
The shakers and movers of this world are people who see themselves as victors rather than victims. These people deal head-on with all the different circumstances and challenges they face.
They successfully manage all the adverse situations unlike other people who simply curl up in a metaphorical ball and say: “Well, I guess I lost the game of life." Or "I can't believe this is happening to me."
Victors say: “You know what? I’m going to be a champion despite all these challenges I’m facing right now.” Or "What can I learn from this situation to improve myself or situation?"
The Key Step: Make The Decision
Decide you’re going to make a difference in the world despite anything negative that happens in your life.
Decide things happen for you...not to you.
Decide to claim victory, not only for you but for other people.
Victory is the only message you should focus on in your life… pulling victory from the jaws of defeat!
Right now, there is some crazy stuff going on in the world. But you always have a choice to see yourself as either a victim or a victor. I encourage you to choose victory.
Choose to say: “You know what? I’m going to take what’s happening now with me, and I’m going to turn it into fuel that will propel me forward.”
There are “leaders” in the world right now who are encouraging people to see themselves as victims, not victors. I would urge you to avoid those people! Avoid listening to them and the people that listen to them! Avoid adopting a mindset that portrays you as a victim in any sense or area of your life…
Economically
Socially
Historically
Physically
Spiritually
Relationships
And any other way
Embrace the idea that you are a victor in EVERY aspect of your life.
The Takeaway
Never see yourself as a victim. Instead, use whatever hardships you’ve experienced as tools for be a victor. There is nothing more powerful than taking control of your life and choosing how you interpret everything that has and will happen FOR you...not to you.
No matter what has happened, you always have the choice to choose how you view what it means to you in your life.
Matthew 26:
50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him.
51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?
54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
