Positive Affirmations for Kids
Our programming as we grow up forms from our be-ing. Our be-ing comes from the words we hear and the things we see. These things help form our thoughts which in turn influence our feelings. Our feeling will lead to the actions we take giving us certain results. Now, those results will become our experiences which will influence our programming...and thus the cycle of manifestation starts again.
So if words become our thoughts, it's extremely important we surround our children with positive, encouraging language. Positive Messages/Affirmations will boost your child's self-esteem and confidence all through life but especially during those challenging times when they need it the most.
Below is a list of affirmations which should be read to your children each and every day until they are at least the age of 13. Now this is only a partial list and can be added to at any time. You can search for more online or in self-help books on the topic. A few great sources for affirmations is Louise Hay, Esther Hicks, and Psych-K.
Just make sure when you make an affirmation or borrow one from another source, it must follow these three rules:
It is positive,
It must make you happy, and
It is in present tense (I am... or you are...)
Never ever make the affirmation in future tense, or use the words "I will...", "You will...", "I want...", "i wish..." These phrases never produce anything but wants and wishes.
Romans 4:17 "...and calleth those things which be not as though they were."
